Tickets available for movie screening
The House of Hope is hosting a pre-release screening of “Same Kind of Different as Me”on Oct. 18 at 7 p.m., at the Regal Swamp Fox. This screening is two days before the movie comes out in theaters.
“Same Kind Of Different As Me” is based on the inspiring true story of international art dealer Ron Hall (Greg Kinnear), who befriends a homeless man (Djimon Hounsou) in hopes of saving his struggling marriage to Debbie (Renée Zellweger), a woman whose dreams will lead all three of them on the most remarkable journey of their lives. Jon Voight plays Hall’s father, with whom he reconciles thanks to the revelations of his new life. Based on the New York Times bestseller by Ron Hall.
Tickets are $15 each and are available on the event page of the website www. hofh.org. If you buy 10 tickets or more at one time we will reserve seats for your group.
House of Hope is a Christ-centered community dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men, women and their children. Positive life changes are encouraged through structured programs which focus on spiritual growth, education, employment, life management, and recovery from substance abuse. Upon exit, residents will live housed and out of poverty permanently and have a personal relationship with Jesus.
