Pianist Smith to perform at First Presbyterian Church
Pianist Dr. Ryan F. Smith, an assistant professor of music at Coker College, where he teaches theory and piano courses, will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, at First Presbyterian Church in the sanctuary.
He performed recently at Columbia Museum of Art, Piccolo Spoleto Festival, and Palmetto Theatre. He also is a past winner in the Bob Jones University-University of South Carolina Recital Exchange Competition.
Dr. Smith earned his doctorate from University of South Carolina in piano performance and a minor in music history.
He received his undergraduate degree in piano performance from Furman University and master’s degree in biblical studies at Dallas Theological Seminary.
