Kessinger-Kahn vows pledged
Kristen Nicole Kessinger of Beaufort and Clyde Talmadge Padgett Kahn of Charleston pledged their wedding vows on Friday, June 30, in St. Anthony Catholic Church in Florence.
Father John M. Zimmerman officiated the double-ring ceremony. A program of wedding music was presented by Beverly Hazelwood, organist; Arthur Eugene Morehead, cantor; Anne Tillitt Lewis, violinist and vocalist and Celeste Marshall Allen Kahn, vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Chief Warrant Officer Matthew Scott Kessinger. She is the daughter of Chief Warrant Officer and Mrs. Matthew Scott Kessinger of Beaufort. She is a 2016 summa cum laude graduate of The Citadel with a B.A. degree in political science and member of November Company. She is employed with Sherwin Williams Company.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. David Alan Kahn of Florence. He is a 2016 graduate of The Citadel with a B.A. degree in psychology and member of F-Troop. He is pursuing a masters degree in clinical counseling at The Citadel.
Maid of honor was Jennifer Brooke Kessinger of St. Augustine, FL, a sister of the bride. Attendants were Hannah Elizabeth Kessinger and Yndia Marie Kessinger, sisters of the bride of the home; Celeste Marshall Allen Kahn of Florence, sister of the groom, and Alessandra Ashley Brown of Mount Pleasant.
Flower girl was Lauren Nicole Mosely of Orange Park, FL, cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Nicholas Scott Kessinger, brother of the bride. Dr. David Alan Kahn stood as his son’s best man.
Ushers were David Alan Kahn Jr. of Arlington, VA, brother of the groom; Chase Squire Jones of Jacksonville, FL, Richard John Santorum of Dallas, TX, William Andrew Travis of Brooklyn, NY; Edward Thomas Sieban and Robert Kyle Woodberry, both of Florence.
A reception followed at the home of the groom’s parents. After a wedding trip to Nashville, TN, the couple will make their home in Beaufort.
