Ladies bible study begins Monday
Just for Women Ministries fall Bible study on the Parables of Jesus was delayed one week because of weather. The study will begin on Monday, Sept. 18, in Darlington and Tuesday, Sept. 19, in Florence.
Kathy Griffin will lead the study teaching about what to do while waiting for Jesus to return and how to be ready. She will also discuss what the Bible says about the lost, finding our purpose in life, being a good steward of God’s money, loneliness and forgiveness.
Kathy is the teaching director at Just For Women Ministries. In 2002, she began working closely with founder Betsy Bird. She has facilitated and taught many Bible studies over the years. She has a passion and love for the Lord and His word.
Teaching sessions will be held from noon to 1 p.m. and 7-8 p.m. on both days, with lunch available for $7. Supper will not be served in Darlington, but will be available from 6-7 p.m. in Florence.
Just for Women Ministries began in January 2001 with 160 ladies after Betsy Bird, founder and Bible teacher, clearly heard God’s call to do so. The ministry began meeting at three different times on Mondays in Darlington. Currently around 500 ladies regularly participate in the study each session. These ladies represent 24 different cities and communities and 133 different churches.
There is no charge to attend. Registration will be held on the first day of the session.
